1. Acceptance of terms

These terms govern your use of Golden Crust Cakes (the “Service”), the online cake ordering site of Golden Crust Bakery in Portland, Oregon. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.

2. Definitions

“You” means anyone who uses the Service. “Order” means a custom cake you book for a pickup date. “Deposit” is the part of the cake price you pay when you order.

3. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version at least 7 days before it takes effect.

4. Accounts

You need an account to place an order. Keep your login details safe. You must be at least 13 years old to sign up.

5. Orders and pickup

Each pickup day takes a limited number of cakes. An order is confirmed once the deposit is paid. Please pick up your cake on the chosen day during pickup hours.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you order. You pay the deposit online by card and the balance at pickup. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

7. Your responsibilities

Give us correct contact details and tell us about allergies in the design notes. Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy and nuts.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may close accounts that misuse the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by events outside our control, such as severe weather closing the shop.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
